Will of Allan (Allisary)

This is the last Will and Testament of me Allan McDonald Alisary of township number Thirty seven in Queens County, Prince Edward Island.

First I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid by my Executors hereinafter named as soon as convenient after my demise. Secondly I direct that without unnecessary delay two hundred acres a little more or less in the rear of my farm commonly known under the name of Campbell's farm shall be sold by my executors and the proceeds of such sale shall be given to the Right Rev'd. Bernard Donald McDonald Bishop of Charlottetown, for the purpose of assisting in educating for the Church any young man he may select. Thirdly I give, devise and bequeath to my nephew Ronald McDonald one hundred and fifty acres of my land situated on Pisquid River being the same place on which he now resides to have the boundaries as now reputed and known. Fourthly, and lastly, I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary the residue of my Real Estate fronting on the Hillsborough River and on which she now resides, the division line between myself and my brother Angus to remain as now ran and agreed to, and also all my goods chattels and personal Estate, and I charge my beloved wife to provide for my daughter Jane now living with her in case she should survive her, and I do hereby revoke all former wills made by me and appoint my wife Mary, Angus McDonald /Roderick's son/ Head of Hillsborough River and John McDonald Gearahala, to be executors of this my will.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighth day of March one thousand eight hundred and forty two.
