Will of Hugh Campbell
In the name of God Amen
I, Hugh Campbell, of East Point of Prince Edward Island Farmer, being of sound mind and memory, do make this my last Will and Testament, in form and manner following:
First I bequeath to Donald my son one half of my Freehold farm South of the Main Post road, and the part north of said road that he holds in possession in consideration my son Donald is to pay One Pound Currency to my son Raymond.
Also I give and bequeath to my son John on the whole of the remaining part of my freehold land property, in consideration the said John is to support my unmarried daughters, with their assistance. Also I will and bequeath to the said John fifty acres of land being the wood farm in consideration the said John is to pay young John Two Pounds ten shillings currency.
Also I give and bequeath to my son Joseph the fifty acres of land that he possesses, in consideration the said Joseph is to pay Raymond One Pound ten Shillings Currency.
I also give and bequeath to my sons Raymond, Malcolm and Neil, one shilling sterling each, to be paid out of my Estate, -
I also will and bequeath to my daughters Catherine, Sally, Ann and Mary one shilling sterling each to be paid out of my estate by John Sen.
I also appoint Peter McDonald of North Lake my Executor and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this 27th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-six.
